Reward In Time and The Grumpy Bear should set a strong clip. SAVAGERY VIBE (7) resumes and has raced well at Listed and Group 2 level. Delivered a Bendigo Maiden by a big space three-back on debut and won a recent Flemington jumpout. Zahra stays aboard, and that's a decent push for her chances. DAELLA (8) is also showing plenty of promise. Placed here as favourite first up in a 64, and then missed by 1L at Moonee Valley. She's been freshened and has solid each way claims. THE GRUMPY BEAR (4) was backed off the map first-up, winning a Maiden by a space at Bendigo. He will use the low barrier and Lane stays aboard. He's progressive. ESCARPA (6) won a 64 against her sex at The Heath first-up and impressed. She's tackled tougher company since at Flemington and Caulfield, and this suits her better. CLOSE TO MIDNIGHT (2) resumed as a well-bet favourite this grade at Moonee Valley, beaten 2.5L after a slow start. He's won a Flemington jumpout since and has plenty up his sleeve. He's going to be around the mark as well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Savagery Vibe.
