Well placed and expected to feature. BEYOND THE FATHER (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when tenth, beaten 12 lengths, over 1600m at this track after he settled well back. Has further improvement to come and looks a clear threat. LYRA BOND (3) is having his second run back from a break after he failed to threaten first up over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 17 lengths. Must be respected. HIGHESTEND (8) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when 12th, beaten 36 lengths, at this track over 2400m. Nicely placed to make amends.
