It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He is a progressive type and should enjoy the rise to 1200m. If keeping on a straight line should be the one to beat. SCARLETT HEART (8) showed good improvement when second of nine over 1160m at Turffontein last time. She stayed on well at the finish but found one too good on the day. Has each-way claims. TIME WILL TELL (6) ran a fair race over 1100m at Turffontein last time. He showed good speed but found one too good, finishing second of seven at long odds. Having his third run this prep and rates well as a leading chance. LAVA COUNTY (2) was in need of his debut effort over 1160m at Turffontein. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. Gavin Lerena rides and is well worth a second look.
