Returned good figures after launching late for a head victory over 2000m at Hawkesbury. Jumps in weight but gets the right tempo again. DE LOUVIERE (6) snagged back from the wide draw and never looked a winning prospect when sixth over 1600m at Gosford. Ready for this trip now fourth up and expected to return to form. ALPINE KANDY (8) strengthened up over the break and looking for this trip and further now. Demolished a handy field when a strong on pace winner over 1600m at Scone. Can keep the strong momentum going. KONING (5) win record hardly excites but has his hoof on the till fifth up. Failed to surrender with the 59kg when second over 1850m at Newcastle. Well drawn and Jason Collett sticks. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,6,8,5.
