Good pressure from the outset with Meiner Spica, Fingers Cross and Buster Shot taking up the running over A Shin Nova and Laciente. FINGERS CROSS (5) disappointed as favourite last time when fourth over 1700m at this track. Prior to that he had been in the money three races on end. Should park just off the speed and best form puts him right in this. BUSTER SHOT (4) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 1.5 lengths at this track. Has a decent record here with two wins and two minor placings from five starts. Can get the job done. ROCK CITY BOY (1) fought on for third last start over 2000m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. A SHIN NOVA (6) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth over 2000m at this track. Nicely placed to bounce back.
