Plenty of early pressure from Kulina and Rose Ring battling for the lead over Ma Belle Grise. Tricky. ROSE RING (3) resumed at Werribee as favourite and folded up from the speed (vet cleared). Brought strong relative form to that and is a second-up winner worth another chance. CHARLIE FOXTROT (2) resumed at Swan Hill as a firm favourite and just barreled (vet cleared). The ex-NSW galloper is also good enough at best and has to go in. KULINA (4) was given a break following a below par eighth over 1000m at Seymour nine weeks ago. Can sneak into the finish.
LITTLE RICHIE TURF (5) resumes and is best in that state. Has the rail and may be the best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Rose Ring.
