Solid tempo anticipated with Brave Emperor heading them off. Time for the Champions Mile where it's all about the champ GOLDEN SIXTY (1). He's had a hiccup since winning the HK Mile in convincing fashion in December, but his recent trial was superb when asked for an effort. Easy to draw a line through that race in December, with the only query being if we get a heavy track. VOYAGE BUBBLE (2) was essentially a non-event in Dubai when hampered in the straight and eased down over the closing stages as the race favourite. Won the Stewards' Cup impressively in January and was game in the HK Mile in December. The obvious threat. GALAXY PATCH (9) is the new kid on the block and we probably don't know just how good he is yet. Love that he comes back to the mile now and he should get every chance for Shinn. OBAMBURUMAI (5) wasn't at his best in the Doncaster but was trending nicely prior to that. Worth keeping onside. BEAUTY ETERNAL (3) will need some luck but he shouldn't be far away if it comes.

Has had a niggle since winning in December but his recent trial suggests he's on song. |

Put a line through his last start in Dubai. Form prior to that has him in with a chance. |

At only start last preparation came from midfield and won by a head at Rosehill Golden Eagle November 4 over 1500m defeating Pericles with 56.5kg at $7. Never really got a crack at them in the Doncaster. Much better than that effort suggests. Can bounce back. |

Hard to line up the Italian G1 form but this looks a bridge too far despite the big win. |
