Solid tempo likely from the outset with Roy's Road, Whakamiharo and King Samuel prominent. ROY'S ROAD (4) has been knocking on the door and there was only 0.5L in it at Rockhampton last time this trip. She will likely control the race from the inside barrier and can go one better. BRAND NEW (5) is third-up and can make quick improvement stepping up to the mile. He's right up to this and it's hard to risk the Taylor-Stanley linkage. Maps for a soft run. MURRAJONG ROAD (2) missed a whisker in a Rockhampton CL3 before the spell. Just found one better first-up and the extra metres suit. Fitter and will get every chance from an inside gate. WHAKAMIHARO (3) won in the bush and then found one better here in a 55. Will push forward and will be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Roy's Road.
