Multinational and No Change will press forward early in a keen battle for top spot. ABOVE THE PEG (3) was a dominant last start winner over this course and distance and this looks a very similar set up for the gelding. Now 21 days between runs, he drops in weight as he rises in grade again and he should get a similar run to last start. Can go back-to-back. COUNT THE SESSIONS (9) was 4L behind Above The Peg last time out but should have come on from that effort. Now third-up after a break, CJP rides from a favourable alley and he meets his rival much better at the weights. Can turn the tables. MULTINATIONAL (1) steps back out in distance after keeping up well last time out, beaten 1.1L. Brad Parnham replaces the apprentice hoop and he's likely to be prominent from an inside draw. Will take plenty of catching. SISU WARRIOR (2) bounced back last time out run running on strongly and now drops in distance. Best form is good enough he just needs to bring it. ZEPHYRA (11) can improve now third-up into the campaign and with no weight on her back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Above The Peg gets the nod.
