GOING: G(4)

HAPPY 21ST OSCAR PALIN HANDICAP 1100m

Track: GOOD 4   Clouds (Max: 21)   Rail: True.

Expecting City Angel to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. BRAVE STRIKE (5) was right at her best first-up when proving too strong over 1000m, winning by 0.7L. The slight rise in trip should suit and the fact she sat close to the speed is a positive sign. Can do so again from a favourable alley and with improvement expected, she can go back-to-back. THE BOSS LADY (3) made it back-to-back wins when getting there on the post to score narrowly. Has plenty of ability and the horse she beat last start has since come out and won. Should be handy in the run and is expected to take plenty of beating. CITY ANGEL (7) bolted in fresh over this track and trip and has never missed the placings second-up. This is tougher, but she's racing well and has found a suitable race. STORM COMMANDER (4) is racing well and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brave Strike can win again.
