Toy Soltero and Highland Rahy should lock horns early at a strong tempo. FAST RESPONDER (2) makes his HK debut on the back of some nice trials after ending his last campaign as an impressive 1.5L winner in G3 company in England. The wide draw suits down the straight course and he still has good upside. Hewitson sticks from the trials and he can make a winning start to his HK career. BABY CRYSTAL (1) is looking for the hat-trick after proving too strong at this track and trip last time out. Draws wide again which suits and he only rises 1.5kg. Looks to have found his niche and he's expected to go awfully close again. KA YING VICTORY (10) has been just fair this season after dominating in his debut prep. Now drops right back to this track and trip where he has won previously. Has good speed and a turn around in form wouldn't surprise. HAPPY UNITED (6) has never raced at this track but does boast a good record over the 1000m journey. Purton hopping on board is a big tick. Live chance.
