CAPE RACING SALES CAPE A STAKES 1100m

Track: GOOD   Rain (Max: 16)   4m

Strong early tempo with Questioning, Icy Blast and Rio Querari leading the way. BEREAVE (5) has good recent form lines to his credit. He tried hard when third in Grade 2 company last time. His recent spell would have done him the world of good and if keeping on a straight line, he should find himself in the winner's enclosure fresh up here. RIO QUERARI (3) has been thereabouts for a while now. Aldo Domeyer is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most. MUFASA (4) showed good speed last time out before being collared late and finishing runner-up. He is in a good space and may be hard to peg back again. QUESTIONING (1) fought on gamely when third in Grade 3 company last start. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He will be mowing down the frontrunners and could have the last say this time.
