Good tempo with Kelly's Lassie and Compak leading the way. FIRST CONTACT (2) has raced his way back into form on his home circuit of Geraldton and was only a nose away from making it 2 wins on the bounce there a fortnight ago. She looks very well placed in this and should go close to taking it out. WAKAN TANKA (3) has been facing stronger company than this earlier in the season and maybe a change of scenery with a new trainer can see him return to his best. Each way. OUR KIWI PRINCESS (1) will be peaking third up and more importantly, she has not missed a cheque in 4 starts on this track, including a couple of wins. Kyra Yuill is back in the saddle and the pair merit healthy respect. JUSTHANDY (8) has only shown one glimpse of form which was 2 starts back at Geraldton when finishing fourth. He has winning form on this circuit and can put her best hoof forward in this at a decent each-way price. SUGGESTED PLAY: First Contact to win.
