Not a great deal of early pace evident so it may be left to one or more of the strong contingent of first starters to set the pace. Tricky race with a host of first starters and betting should provide a guide. ZATANNA (13) appeared to move nicely enough when finishing 4th in an 840m trial at Doomben on April 11. Drawn OK and has 1.5kg claim of Emily Lang. Lean that way. CROATIAN QUEEN (8) has finished second in three barrier trials and has blinkers on for her debut. Clearly well prepped up and should be nice and forward while INVADING JILLY (1) has plenty of race experience and inside draw but needs to lift off recent runs. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Zatanna.
