Zamparini Spirit and Master Of Chant to take up the running at a strong tempo. HONEY MAKER (2) turned in a tough effort from the back to score by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last start, capping strong form. The 2kg claim takes care of the weight increase, and she's suitably placed to deliver again. IOANE (3) was plain at Wodonga, but his 2L defeat over 1500m at Geelong prior stacks right up. Has the blinkers on for the first time and is back in grade with a 1.5kg claim. An each-way play. ZAMPARINI SPIRIT (6) led and won his Maiden by 5L this track/trip. Skipped over from a wide gate and will likely do the same today. He could take the next step without surprise. LULU DARLING (4) brings a nose defeat over 1400m at Sale, improving again. Has a handy 2kg claim, and the veteran mare should relish the extra metres. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Honey Maker.
