Rock Emperor is the likely leader at a keen tempo. TWICE AZ COOL (8) returned from a 14-month spell with an impressive second last start over 1100m at Scone, hanging on well after showing pace to be beaten less than a length. Draws a far better gate this time and with some natural improvement to come he clearly looks the one to beat. ROCK EMPEROR (6) started favourite on debut last time out over 1000m at Tamworth but after leading into the straight found a couple better in the run home. May settle a bit better with the blinkers coming off. Sure to give a great sight. PEPPERINA (10) is back from a 20-week spell. Raced twice in the maiden campaign and did her best work late on each occasion. Will need more ground down the track but while fresh she is a top three hope. LOBBYIST (9) was handy from the outset but lacked a kick at the end of 1400m at Armidale last time. Should be more effective back to this trip so worth including. ENVISIONED (2) is worth another chance off a five-week freshen up with a couple of gear changes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Twice Az Cool.
