SCOTCH KILT (9) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at this track with success over 1600m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. LOVELY YOSHINO (7) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1600m at this track, finishing 7 lengths back in sixth. Finds a nice race and can atone. NONSTOP GIRL (10) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on her last start third at this track over 1600m when beaten 2.25 lengths. Should park just off the speed. One of the main contenders. IKENO GAL CHAN (8) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at this track over 1600m. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
