In a small field either Go Russian or Extremely Perfect will find the front. RUSSIAN WORDS (8) has been freshened up since a mediocre effort over this distance at Wyong a month ago. Speedy filly who looks well treated in this far easier maiden. Will give them something to catch. DAISY DUCK (5) is a new arrival in the Cavanough stable after five runs in Victoria under Chris Waller. Last appeared two months ago when beaten under three lengths over 1400m at Pakenham. Expect that form to measure up in this plain affair. GO RUSSIAN (6) backs up five days after a modest fifth over 900m at Newcastle. Better placed out to this trip. Should be prominent. EXTREMELY PERFECT (1) has raced handy and battled on okay at his last couple. Coming back a little in distance and from a good gate should be right there from the outset. MR CORNSTAR (2) led but knocked up when resuming over this trip at Tuncurry recently. Likely to offer a bit more today with that run under the belt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Russian Words and Daisy Duck.
