Looks to be plenty of pace with Besiege and Sicilian Warrior battling for the lead. BRAIN WAVE (3) has made improvement at her last two outings and doesn't have to improve much to win this. Made up good ground late to run fourth over 1800m at the Gold Coast. Makes plenty of appeal. CLASSIC SHIRAZ (4) is a 19-start Maiden who looks well-placed for this. Sent to town last start with a fast finishing third over 2040m at Doomben. On the back-up and can get the job done today. SICILIAN WARRIOR (2) rewarded for his consistency at start nine with a comfortable on-pace Maiden win over 1690m at Ipswich. Shaping up nicely and can go on with it now. SHARK PARK (7) change of tactics last start when she raced up on the pace with a fighting fourth over 2040m at Doomben. Blinkers go on and has top-four claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,4,2.
