Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 1200m at this track. Rates highly and a bold showing is expected. PIERRE OREGON (9) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 1200m at this track on October 23. Goes very well when fresh from a spell with three wins from four starts so he looks sure to be in the finish. SWEET LOTUS (14) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths over 1600m after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to turn things around. NANSEI TIME (8) failed to live up to market expectations last start when out of the placings over 1200m at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role.
