Fast pace assured with The Gov, Squazeemoto and Doctor Coto leading the charge. SUPERLIV (6) led and spiked her figures, beaten just 0.8 lengths in second over 1100m at Geelong. Draws an inside barrier and has the class to take care of this field. Stablemate THE BIRTHDAY PARTY (7) won a Swan Hill Maiden on debut and then had excuses at Yarra Valley first-up. She's since placed second in a Flemington jumpout. Draws wide but gets Ben Allen, and she can improve into the finish with average luck. MUST BE SAIN (5) was not too far away when resuming last start over 1200m at Cranbourne. That reads well enough, and he should enjoy a good run just off the speed. One of the main contenders. PRANCING QUEEN (8) resumes and is proven fresh and over this distance. She will be running into it late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Superliv to win.
