Genuine tempo with the speedy Riko Luger leading the way. SONIC STAR (12) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 0.8 lengths away in second over 1600m at this track. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. HULM (3) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.3 lengths adrift in second over 1200m at this track when coming back from a break. Can measure up. RIKO LUGER (6) is a distance specialist who was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths into eighth after being in the firing line on the bend. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. NASTY WEATHER (2) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 16th over 1400m at this track. Can turn things around.
