Moderate tempo with Besiege leading the way. FLOP SHOT (3) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 10 lengths, over 1800m at Gold Coast. Ideally placed against this lot and is sure to take plenty of stopping. ATTACK FORCE (1) got well back over 1900m at Armidale last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 21 lengths away in tenth. This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to be prominent. BESIEGE (2) returns from a spell of six months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Toowoomba over 1100m when first-up last time in work. Placed in a recent trial. Sure to make his presence felt while fresh. ALFA DUNDEE (6) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1600m at Nanango, beaten 1.5 lengths. Strips fitter now and is capable of a big run. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Flop Shot.
