Genuine pace with Epaullo Creed finding the front from his low draw. ZOUWASE (5) resumes and posted a strong relative number at the back of his first preparation. He owns a Sapphire Coast trial win, and Loy's engagement suggests they mean business. Well-bred and lightly raced and can go on with the job. EPAULLO CREED (1) is a leader drawn inside and he's been racing in tougher company. He went close at Wagga two back and the 4kg claim offsets some of the weight increase. In good hands and he will give them plenty to chase. DUBAI CENTRE (2) doesn't win out of turn, but there was a lot to like about his last start placing at Goulburn. Hard to say he's turned the corner, but he'd go close if he could replicate that effort. FIRE AND GEMSTONE (3) draws out but deserved his win this grade at the Sapphire Coast and he keeps improving. Has a 2kg claimer up and has been freshened. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Zouwase.
