Through Irish Eyes and Diwali to stride forward and take up the running. Tough race. A few here could've been in the Australian Hurdle but stick to the flat. THROUGH IRISH EYES (6) is one, winning his maiden hurdle at Warrnambool in a thrilling battle with Stockman two back before a rock-solid effort in the Ramsden at Flemington. Up to 3200m suits him nicely. ALMA RISE (5) was in the market in the Ramsden but really struggled. She did beat Basilinna easily prior who ended up winning the Ramsden so we know she's good enough. DIWALI (10) and CABLE DANCER (8) have each way chances in an open race. GLENTANEOUS (1) was back in form in the Andrew Ramsden Stakes last start when finishing second. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Through Irish Eyes on top.
