THE WOLF (15) had a forty-six-day let-up and returned to form when beaten a whisker in heavy going over 1100m at Wyong last start. Won't find this any harder. Just needs to hold that form now to be right in contention. SWAMP NATION (9) has been freshened up since a moderate performance over 1190m at Grafton a month ago. Races well here and gets through this sort of ground. Major contender. ZARU (6) is back from a 102-day spell. Placed six from ten when resuming and his record here at this trip is difficult to fault. Must be respected. DEBUSSY (4) has been racing well in better company, most recently finishing fourth in a BM78 over this distance at Randwick. Nicely drawn and should be about the money again. YUKAN ROSE (12) has won two from four when fresh so keep her in mind coming off a sixteen-week spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Wolf each-way.
