The well-bred HEAVENLY SHADES (13) is a promising filly who built on a spacious first-up Maiden win with a meritorious 1.4L defeat on the Lakeside from a wide alley. She's back in class, and winning rider Shinn is reunited. Maps for the run of the race today, and fitter, the 1600m will hold no fears. KIWIESQUE (8) managed a heavy track to win at Kilmore on debut and resumes owning a win at the Cranbourne jumpouts. She will be naturally improved and Brown is a positive jockey booking. Kicks off at the mile and a positive return is likely. PULA (10) has been threatening on the Hillside since her comfortable Maiden win. She can make the finish. HARRUMPH HARRUMPH (3) won a Geelong Maiden on debut and will be better for that. Draws an inside barrier, and Williams is a key jockey switch. Harder, but he's sure to keep improving.
