Velentino to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. NOBLE LEGEND (1) resumed for the new barn at Geelong in good order and then belted the Maidens as favourite on the synthetic. Has raced well at the NSW provincials at fitter can go on with the job. THE UNTACKLABULL (8) mixes the form but has pieces of recent form that would see him right in the finish TOMBOULDER (5) resumes for the new barn off a 54 win at Mt Gambier when he led. He is proven fresh and won't have to be much improved to be a chance. PARTY AT ARTIE'S (2) is hard-fit and has been racing in better class. Had good support at Wangaratta last time and can't be ruled out in a race of this calibre. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Noble Legend.
