Strong pace with Lamorak, Fortunate and Yuyu Starry pushing forward, closely attended by Mume and Colorado Fountain. LAMORAK (4) was an emphatic winner last time over 1600m at this track with today's rider Keita Nishi engaged. Has a formidable record at this journey with three wins and two placings from seven starts and should prove tough to beat. AQUILONE (8) saluted at the first run back from a spell last start over 1600m at this track, scoring by 2 lengths. Has been given a let-up of six weeks since that outing. Record at this trip is excellent and another big run will not surprise. FIRST MATE (2) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1600m at this track, an improvement on his eighth at this track the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. COLORADO FOUNTAIN (11) failed to figure again last time over 1600m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Don't underestimate.
