Without a recognised leader a modest gallop is on the cards. POWER BEAU (7) holding form well and indicated a win was imminent when powering late for a game second over 1200m at Newcastle. Has a good record at this trip and will be strong late. PLENITUDE (13) set to peak here fourth up and will relish the big drop in weight. Battled strongly with the 60kg when fourth over 1300m at Orange in BM66 grade. Gets the right run and expected to take a hand in the finish. TURGENEV (8) up in grade from the wide draw when a poor tenth over 1300m at Orange. Assess on earlier efforts and the 3kg claim is a bonus. SPORTS PAGE (10) has come back stronger this prep and the scratchings bring her into the mix. Back in trip when a respectable fifth over 1200m at Dubbo. Goes into the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Power Beau to win.
