MYSTIC VISION (4) showed good improvement in his last start over 1400m on this course when finishing second of 11. He cost himself winning that day as he ducked outwards at the 300m mark. If confirming his recent improvement, he can go one better in this line-up. TWO FOR THE BOYS (9) improved when third of 11 over 1400m last time. He received a check at the 300m mark and stayed on well to finish third. He is coming along the right way and he an each-way chance. ROYAL MIRACLE (1) raced from a handy position over this distance last time but found one too good on the day. Phelisile Mongqawa is booked to ride and the combination cannot be ignored. CHIEFTAIN'S SHIELD (5) stayed on well when second over 1700m on this course last time. Rates well as a leading chance.
