No surprise if the debutants played a key role in the tempo of the race with little speed on paper. PUGLIA (9) is a consistent type who has placed in all four starts to date, resuming with a solid third at Sandown Hillside over 1400m, beaten 1.1 lengths. Gets to 1600m now where she showed strong form last time in. Rates highly. MISS PLAYLOUNGE (7) struggled against much stronger company last time at Caulfield but had been close up on resumption and is in the mix off that. KISSED EARTH (14) has a few peak figures that would be competitive if she can find her best while ZAEEMAH (12) was good fresh and is open to improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Puglia to win.
