A solid tempo is anticipated with Rocket Juice and Gage Roads kicking up to hold out the next wave. BE BARDOT (7) was well backed last start over 1400m here but never saw daylight in the run to the line, finishing 2.9L back. Pike draws wider this time which may suit her a little better and the mile is no issue. She'll be back in the run but she'll be finishing off strongly late in the race. HENRY THE AVIATOR (2) found one better over this course and distance last time out, beaten 1.6L, though the form out of that race has been good. He maps for a similar run this time around and if he can run up to those figures again, he should make his presence felt. ROCKET JUICE (5) was only 1.8L off the winner last start despite the form guide reading 8/12. The tongue tie goes on now and he can give a big sight from up on the speed. COVERT ROSE (3) drops back in distance today but maps well and should be strong late in the race. AUDIO BOY (6) just missed fresh and should be suited by the rise in trip. Can go one better now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Be Bardot can bounce back to winning ways.
