PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC   24 Jun 2024

GOING: N

Sportsbet Fast Form BM70 Handicap 1200m

Track: SYNTHETIC   Clouds (Max: 13)   Rail: True Entire Circuit.

Chartwell House has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. WRITTEN ROYALTY (3) was a surprise winner first-up at Bendigo, according to the market, starting $26 but running on well to score by 1.75 lengths. Has clearly come back better and if he repeats that or goes on with it he'll go close. CHARTWELL HOUSE (1) made his Australian debut at Bendigo off an eight month spell and was okay in a bunched finish, beaten two lengths after racing on speed. Much fitter for that and can improve sharply. TIFFANY VALENTINE (7) is a consistent type who was solid at Sandown-Lakeside last start behind a progressive horse in The Open. That form should hold up nicely. OVER BOOST (4) was good two back at Sale and can bounce back. HEYWOOD (2) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Written Royalty on top.
