Solid pace from Greenwich and Amazing Duck pushing forward with Storming Dragon in close attendance. STORMING DRAGON (8) disappointed as favourite last start when beaten 2.8L over this course and distance and he's trialled impressively since that effort. The blinkers replace the winkers for this start and the fact Purton sticks with him which is a big tick. Can notch up his maiden win in this event. STEPS AHEAD (4) has been close in both efforts to date, bumping into a smart one over 1200m last time out. He closed off strongly on that occasion and the rise in trip appears to suit. Bowman takes the ride again and if he can build on what he did last start, he'll go close to winning. MEEPMEEP (7) returned in solid order behind a progressive type, beaten 3L and he should have come on from that effort. He's had a quiet trial since then and he'll strip fitter for those outings. Can put himself into the finish. GLUCK RACER (14) was no match for the winner last start but has figures better than what he produced there. Won't be far away.
