Without a great deal of early pace evident Tamahine may lead the way over Girlpower. TAMAHINE (12) is in the top stable and has threatened both starts this preparation. She will push forward and has the blinkers applied for the first time. Ready to break through and should have them covered with her chief rival out. VINEUX (14) debuts and won her latest jumpout. Looks ready to go and can make the finish. ABERLUTELY (8) didn't get warm in her brief initial preparation but returned in good order, narrowly beaten on the Ballarat synthetic. She will be fitter and given she's running suggests she'll manage the heavy surface. LOS ALAMOSS (11) presnts at peak fitness and that will hold her in good stead. Needs to find more but that may be coming. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hard to go past Tamahine.
