Plenty of first starters engaged which muddies the map a little. It is fair to assume a keen tempo. IMPENDING WAR (1) is another decent winning hope for the potent McDougall-Hayes linkage. The colt prepared well and on debut was much too good at Wodonga in this grade. He will have taken fitness and learning, and maps to get every chance. MISS ELLANEOUS (5) improved at her second race start, narrowly beaten from the front in a Ballarat Maiden. That stacks up, and she's jumped out since. Just has to run out the longer sprint to feature. SILVASISTA (8) debuts for a sharp yard, and her jump-outs have been good. 20% stable striker Coffey sticks aboard from the latest, and a bold run is likely. FLYING DONE (3) debuts and Yendall rides, and he's been aboard his most recent jump-outs. Draws inside, and he's likely to race well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Impending War.
