Genuine tempo with Shuffle Girl to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. TANOMUDE HOMMA (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4 lengths away in fifth over 1400m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. VICTORY KNIGHT (4) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing second and beaten 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SHUFFLE GIRL (11) finished third at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1400m at this track, finishing 17 lengths back in ninth after being prominent at the bend. Can bounce back. MEISHO SATOYUKI (9) lines up on the back of a 3.5 lengths fourth over 1400m at this track as favourite. Has a sound record here with two wins and six minor placings from 13 starts. One of the contenders.
