A strong tempo is anticipated. DAPPER (1) was running on well when fourth over 1200m last time. He finished second in his only attempt over this course and distance. He will strip a much fitter horse and from pole position may find himself in the winner's enclosure. DANCING ON A CLOUD (9) was an impressive winner over this course and distance at the second time of asking. He takes on stronger rivals but he has plenty of scope and should be well up to the task at hand. RED MOUNTAIN (2) fought on strongly to score by a nose over this distance at Greyville last start. He has won once and finished third twice from as many starts on this course. He jumps from a good draw of two and must be included in exotic bets. NUMZAAN (17) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Greyville All Weather two starts back then won as the favourite last time out over 1400m at this track. Well placed to go back-to-back.
