Genuine tempo with the speedy Feeling Dusty leading the way. VIANARRA (6) returned from a twenty-week break with a game third over this course and distance last start after leading for home. Doesn't usually fire first-up so that was encouraging. Has had plenty of chances but looks ready to win. The unraced DANIEL BOONE (3) is the query runner. Won a 1300m Bendigo trial by nearly eight lengths in late March. Shinn to ride for the Hayes brothers - he returns a winner in every four rides for that stable. FACTCHECK (4) hasn't been far away in his three runs this prep, all at shorter journeys. Keen to see him get to 1400m for the first time. JENNI LA ROCK (9) found 1200m a bit sharp when resuming last start at Cranbourne. Suited getting out to this trip so in a race with little depth she is a strong top three hope. FEELING DUSTY (1) last appeared when beaten under a length over 1300m at Bendigo in December. Lightly raced four-year-old who probably leads and can give a bit of cheek while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Vianarra with a saver on Daniel Boone if the money comes for him.
