VIP GEMMA (3) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1400m at this track. Jumps from a nice gate. Rates on top and is a great chance to open the campaign with a win. HIMARIN (4) showed good early speed from the inside draw when fresh from a spell last time out, leading for home before finding one better over 1400m at this track. Well-placed and should be tough to rein in again. LIEN SOLIDE (2) resumes in a similar race to her last run four-and-a-half months ago when fourth, beaten 4 lengths. Looks a strong top-three prospect. TAKKEN ULURU (5) finished 4 lengths from the winner in sixth at her most recent appearance over 1400m at this track. Appeals as a top-four contender.
