Strong tempo assured with Halo Phenomena and Magic Sorcerer leading the way over Dreymon. HALO PHENOMENA (6) returns from a 164-day spell and has transferred from Godolphin to Cody Morgan's yard. Didn't do a great deal in his two runs last prep at the provincials. Trialling extremely well for the new stable, and this looks a nice race for him. FLEETLY (10) has worked through the line well in her two runs to date without looking a threat, both times over 1000m. Sure to appreciate the extra furlong and from a good gate makes plenty of appeal. SETHFIRE (4) settled back in the field and made little impression on debut over 1312m at Taree back in September. Has not raced since but has been to the trials three times. Worth another chance. MAGIC SORCERER (16) is a sixteen-start maiden returning for a fourth campaign. Might be the big improver with blinkers applied for the first time. Market watch on INCANTRESS (12) who wears blinkers for the first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Halo Phenomena and Fleetly.
