Black Mut and Rice Rice will press forward early in a keen battle for top spot. HUMAN RIGHTS (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 900m at Kawasaki, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. NAGISANO NATSUKO (7) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when sixth in a 1200m contest at Funabashi three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. YELLOW DIA (4) finished out of the money two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 7 lengths when seventh in a 1400m contest at Saga five-and-a-half weeks ago. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. LOTO KAGURA (1) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 9 lengths into seventh. Better than recent efforts suggest.
