A solid tempo is on the cards with Long Pass and Sun Beauty pushing for the lead ahead of Kickoff and Brutal Elegance. BRUTAL ELEGANCE (2) resumes for a top Sydney stable, and she was tipped out after a solid enough effort on debut. She's trialled well for her return, but the 2kg claimer has to manage an awkward barrier. She's likely good enough to manage, and the late betting will be the key with her. KICKOFF (6) also draws out but is third-up and ready to find her best. Has the numbers and she's on a quick backup. OAKFIELD VIRGINIA (11) debuts for the powerful Kris Lees stable, and her recent Gosford trial suggests she will be very competitive. SUN BEAUTY (10) resumes and has switched stables. On what we've seen, she'll need further, but she has the ability and deserves a market watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brutal Elegance if the betting suggests stable confidence.
