A keen contest with Flying Ting Lok and Fun Elite leading. FUN ELITE (1) has been teetering between C3 and C4, jumping a $330 chance two back when he dropped into this grade and was beaten 1L under Purton. Up to 1200m now however where he is a winner and he has the speed to offset the sticky gate. Ticks a few boxes and should be right in the finish. VULCANUS (10) just missed two back before going under as favourite last start behind a dominant winner. He remains down in the weights and the form out of his last start has been franked since. Draws ideally and can go one better this time. THUNDER PRINCE (4) flew home to just miss last start when back out to 1200m, beaten in a photo finish. He didn't have the best of luck on that occasion either, but he turned in a strong rating that stacks up highly in this field. Can make his presence felt. FLYING TING LOK (2) showed good improvement last start and gets back out to 1200m now. Can improve again.
