Pace only fair with Navy Buoy rolling to the lead ahead of Elusive Mission and Khant Fail. ANT (1) encouraging signs second up when running through the line to finish a close third to Dark Arts and Shangri La Impact over 1550m at Canterbury. Kept fresh for this and form has since been franked. Well placed up to the 2000m and maps well. PRO VELOCITY (13) at her top now after running on late when a plugging fourth over 2000m at Hawkesbury. Adept in all conditions and has the right figures to take this out. NAVY BUOY (2) gives the impression he's looking for the 2000m now and a win looks imminent. Three weeks between runs when a plugging fourth over 1600m here at latest. Significant jockey change today from the good gate. SO SUAVE (3) another from the Waller camp who comes off a 31-day let-up. Shuffled back from the low gate and never looked a winning prospect on the turn when sixth over 1890m at Newcastle. Desperate for a firmer surface. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ant to get the upper hand.
