GRACE MUSE (8) is back from a spell of ten months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1500m at Kawasaki. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Kazuma Yabuguchi. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SPELL GASSAN (7) was solid when fourth last time out over 1500m at Funabashi, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at Funabashi at the previous outing. Contender. EARTH MELODY (2) returns after nine months in the paddock. Placed when fresh last campaign. In the mix.
