Plenty of pace from the outset with Let Rip and Zeebrugge leading the charge. SKEPTICAL (13) travelled up on the speed but lacked a kick in the closing stages of a $50k maiden over this distance at Orange last time out. Meets a much thinner field today and should give backers a sight. SWEET AS A KISS (14) had her first run for new trainer Garry Lunn at Wellington recently and did a fair job to finish seventh over 1400m after coming from the tail of the field. Likely improver, particularly over the extra furlong. DIVINE BELLE (6) wasn't far away at Wellington last time. Placed twice from two Dubbo starts so she has definite claims. LET RIP (1) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Skeptical gets the nod.
