GOLDEN CENTURY (2) maiden Pierro gelding who comes across from Cambridge (NZ) after surging late when third to Willydoit over 2400m in the G1 New Zealand Derby at Ellerslie on March 8. Stable is always lethal when they come across and the booking of Rawiller is a bonus. Hard to stop. KING OF THUNDER (4) bounced off his good first up run with a sharp 1900m victory at this track in BM78 class. Ran a tough seventh in the VRC Derby in the Spring and look for him charging late. FORMAT (11) comes here on an unorthodox Derby prep. Appreciated the soft going when leading throughout for a slick victory over 2400m at Kembla Grange. Up to the task and will give a ton of cheek. FIRM AGREEMENT (1) has needed both runs back and ready for this trip. Placed in the G1 Spring Champion over the 2000m last Spring. Genuine player. SUGGESTED PLAY: Golden Century in a tough contest.
