Moderate tempo with Lane Changer leading the way. MUIRFIELD (4) was in the market on debut and ran well, beaten a neck here over 1200m. Better for that experience, he's bred to run further so should enjoy this trip and can go one better. ADAMANA (9) was good on debut in a handy maiden behind Altermatum at Ballarat. Like her getting to this trip now and she can take a more forward position. CHEMUTAI (3) is a gelding by Grunt on debut for the McEvoy yard. Trials and jump outs have been mixed but must respect connections. SCORPION (5) is a So You Think gelding on debut for the O'Brien yard with Damian Lane booked which warrants notice. SUGGESTED PLAY: Muirfield to win.
